HomeRun is a Derby-based collective dedicated to championing underground music and nurturing local talent through events and releases on our in-house label, HomeRun Records, founded in 2023 by a tight-knit group of friends, the collective has grown into a vibrant community of producers, DJs, and sound system engineers united by a shared passion for sound system culture and forward-thinking bass music.
Hailing from Aotearoa / New Zealand, we’re proud to welcome Oliver Prince to the HomeRun roster with his new heavyweight cut Slugger. Known for his dub-soaked sound design and raw, uncompromising drum work, Oliver delivers a track that hits with full force — all grit, weight, and attitude.
Slugger blends squelchy, face-twisting basslines with a minimal percussive drive built for sound system pressure. This is a tune that demands to be played LOUD.
